### Why I recommend it

 This is widely considered one of the must-have global mods for MSFS. Default MSFS basically has one season everywhere: summer. This pack fixes that by injecting proper seasonal colours, with browns and oranges for Autumn, leafless trees for Winter, and blossoms for Spring. It also fixes incorrect tree placement worldwide, such as adding palm trees to LA and Miami where they were missing, and removing them from places they should not be.

**Why I recommend it:** Grand Teton is spectacular in its own right, but the default landscape can still feel surprisingly quiet and static in the places where you expect to see people and activity. Baysim’s V4 changes that completely. It brings genuine life and atmosphere to the park, turning it from somewhere you simply fly over into somewhere that feels occupied, active and worth exploring closely.

The amount of environmental detail is what really sells it. Busy car parks packed with vehicles, visitors walking around key areas and other signs of activity make the developed parts of Grand Teton feel alive rather than deserted. The animals are a lovely addition too, adding another layer of character without feeling like a gimmick.

#### San Diego GA Airport Collection ★★★★★

**Why I recommend it:** These are brilliant freeware upgrades for exploring the San Diego PG area properly. They give you much better starting points for VFR routes around the coast, downtown, the bay, Miramar, mountains and desert edge.

- KMYF, KSEE, KRNM and KSDM are excellent bases for California sightseeing flights.
- Great for light aircraft, helicopters, touch-and-go practice and short PG hops.
- Perfect companion freeware for pilots who enjoy low-and-slow routes around Southern California.

#### California Coastal & Desert Airfields ★★★★★

**Why I recommend it:** Vincent’s smaller strips are ideal when you want a proper route rather than just one big airport. Oceano gives you the coast, while Agua Dulce, Chiriaco Summit, Jacumba, Ocotillo Wells and Agua Caliente open up desert and mountain flying.

- Excellent freeware stops between LA, San Diego, Palm Springs and the desert.
- Adds useful detail to airfields that are easy to overlook in default scenery.
- Turns scenic VFR routes into proper airport-to-airport adventures.

#### Grand Circle & Mountain Touring ★★★★★

**Why I recommend it:** Page Municipal, Marble Canyon, Placerville and Bowerman are fantastic for linking airports with dramatic terrain. They work especially well for pilots flying around national parks, canyons, lakes and mountain routes.

- KPGA and L41 are perfect for Lake Powell, Glen Canyon and canyon-country flying.
- KPVF gives California foothill and mountain routes a stronger GA base.
- KHQM is a lovely Pacific Northwest coastal stop for VFR touring.
